LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN) – DERMATOLOGY

Location: South Surrey / White Rock, BC
Pay: $37 - $40 per hour
Job Type: Part-time | Permanent
Hours: 24 per week (with the potential for additional work-from-home hours) | Monday, Tuesday, an Thursday | No nights or weekends

✔ Conduct initial assessments for new and follow-up dermatology patients
✔ Educate patients on skin conditions, procedures, wound care, and post-care instructions
✔ Follow up on test results, treatment plans, and ongoing care
✔ Capture high-quality clinical images for patient records
✔ Monitor and review lab results between visits
✔ Triage referrals and pharmacy/primary care inquiries
✔ Administer subcutaneous injections (e.g., cortisone) and assist in cosmetic procedures (e.g., PRP therapy)
✔ Prepare and dilute medications for injection (e.g., Botox), and set-up for PRP (platelet rich plasma) therapy.
✔ Perform various procedures under physician supervision
✔ Assist in minor surgical procedures, including tray setup and instrument sterilization
✔ Follow medical device reprocessing protocols
✔ Support quality improvement initiatives related to patient care
✔ Manage pathology and microbiology specimens
✔ Maintain accurate and timely documentation using OSCAR EMR
✔ Assist Medical Office Assistants (MOAs) with administrative tasks
