They must work closely in a team environment with the Physician, NP/PA, counselors and other staff so that quality care is provided to the patient in an efficient, caring and dignified manner. The LPN position will be 20 hours per week consisting of 6am -11am M-F (at least 3 days a week), and every other Saturday 7 am -12 pm with flexibility to cover as needed. Description of Duties: Maintain medical reports, nursing notes, laboratory reports, including report of regular toxicology and documentation of current dose and other dosage data in patient record. Record all methadone dosages dispensed on a weekly basis and maintain accurate inventory of all methadone in stock at all times. Ensure medical examinations are performed as per state regulation for incarcerated patients and document the results in each patient’s record. Report any theft or loss of methadone immediately to NYS OASAS, The NYS Department of Health, Bureau of Narcotic Enforcement, and the United State Drug Enforcement Agency. Administer medication and treatments according to provider orders and scope of practice. Strictly adhere to infection control and safety practices according to CORNERSTONE policy. Participate in monthly CFR Nursing Department Meetings. Attend clinical departmental monthly meetings as indicated. Ensure clean and safe patient environment. Attend and participate in monthly All Staff and other required meetings. Be familiar with and adhere to all clinical, administrative, and general policies and procedures as outlined in the CORNERSTONE Policy and Procedure Manual and Employee Handbook. Maintain confidentiality of all aspects of CORNERSTONE CENTER FOR RECOVERY including, but not limited to, patient confidentiality, financials, and employee relations as specified in the federal 42 CFR Part 2 confidentiality regulations pertaining to Substance Use Disorder patient records. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements NYS LPN License BLS Certification Experience with Substance Use Treatment modalities and MAT medications highly preferred.
