ABOUT US:

Envision Mind Care is expanding our team and is seeking compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to support multiple roles within our facility. Envision Mind Care is a pioneering mental health and addiction treatment center dedicated to providing innovative, evidence-based care. We are proud to be the first clinic in Alberta accredited by the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA) for Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy and the first to be licensed by the Government of Alberta to provide Psychedelic Drug Treatment Services. Additionally, we hold a Residential Addictions Treatment Services license, allowing us to deliver comprehensive, high-quality care to individuals on their recovery journey.
LPNs hired for this role will be expected to provide support across programs as needed. If you have a preference for a specific area (e.g., Addictions, Ketamine Therapy, or TMS Therapy), please indicate this in your application.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Registered with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA) as an LPN.
  • Experience administering IM injections.
  • Strong clinical knowledge, with an understanding of mental health and addictions being an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • BCLS certification required; ACLS is an asset.

Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES:PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES ACROSS ALL PROGRAMS:

  • Provide direct care to clients in accordance with established medical protocols.
  • Conduct routine monitoring of client well-being, including vital signs and mental status checks.
  • Administer medications (IM, PO, sublingual, intranasal) following prescribed protocols.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of client progress, treatment sessions, medication administration, and any observed changes in condition.
  • Respond to medical and mental health emergencies and escalate concerns as necessary.
  • Collaborate with medical, psychiatric, and therapeutic teams to ensure comprehensive client care.
  • Maintain compliance with all legal, ethical, and regulatory standards, including CLPNA guidelines and privacy policies.
