Position Summary The Licensed Practice Nurse (LPN) is responsible for rendering nursing care in assigned area in terms of individualized patient needs, according to dependent and independent nursing functions and conformance with recognized nursing techniques, procedures, and established standards based on the scope of practical nursing, under the direction/delegation of the nurse manager, registered nurse or physician. Obtains, verifies and records health history of patients Gathers pertinent health data through physical assessments and biological samples Collects specimens for laboratory analysis Provides basic patient care as ordered. Requirements Must be currently licensed as a LPN in North Carolina. Previous experience with Epic preferred. Current BLS certification required. Minimum of one (1) year experience in medical specialty practice preferred. Bilingual skill a plus.
