Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Mon - Fri 10:00am - 6:00pm plus on-call responsibilities, one weekend per month. Location: Covington/ Slidell/ north shore area Requirements LPN Licensed in good standing Valid Driver’s license Minimum of 1 year of experience in infusion therapy Strong knowledge of IV therapy and medication administration Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Basic computer skills Job Responsibilities, included but not limited to: Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report any changes to the physician Maintain accurate and complete patient records Educate patients and their families on the infusion process and any potential side effects Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and sterilized Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols Other duties as assigned Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
