Description:
Our Full Scope LPN acts as a team lead and is responsible for the overall care and well being of residents in our care home. Under the direction of the Director of Care, the LPN provides care to our residents within best practices as per their professional scope. The LPN uses their skills and knowledge to perform ongoing assessments, create and manage care plans, provide personal care, wound care and nursing procedures in accordance with our policies and best practices, along with the physicians’ orders.
In addition, this role can be combined with the option of working with our team of community nurses, to provide care to our patients in their homes and to work with our Safe Supply Program. This role works collaboratively with residents, families, groups, communities and other members of the health care team to support safe, competent and ethical care.
Position Opening: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Senior Care, Alzheimer’s Care and Complex Care within our facility with the option of community shifts.

Qualifications, Abilities, Experience and Requirements:

• Medical certificate confirming physical, mental and emotional suitability necessary for position
• TB Test
• BC Criminal Records Review Program Clearance
• Graduation from a Registered LPN Program
• Current First Aid/CPR
• Current CLPNBC License
• Ability to work as part of a team
