You will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care.   How you’ll contribute  A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who excels in this role:  * Contributes to the assessment of patients by collecting data for analysis by an RN. * Performs plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care; may administer medication. * Documents patient care provided. * Assists RN with development of plan of care. * Assists patients with daily living activities including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. * Monitors, documents, and communicates patient status and responses to interventions with RN, physician, patient, and family. * Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient. * Participates in performance improvement and continuing education. * Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts/units as needed. * Maintains regular and reliable attendance. * Performs other duties as assigned.     What we’re looking for  Applicants should have a current state LPN license. Additional requirements include:    * Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire. * One year of experience preferred * ACLS certification within 90 days of hire * PALS certification within 90 days of hire   Why join us We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
