Description

GEORGE SPADY SOCIETY

The George Spady Society is recognized as a leader in the development and delivery of effective services for the care, treatment, and support of individuals with substance-related disorders and dual diagnoses. People who come to us find dignity, hope and healing as they set a new path towards health and well-being. George Spady Society provides a continuum of support services supporting people with complex life circumstances associated with substance-related and concurrent disorders and homelessness, empowering them to improve their lives through client-centered, evidence-based best practices.
The Multi-Program Night Nurse (LPN) will provide essential medical care and support across various programs at the George Spady Society, with a primary focus on bed-based programs such as George’s House and the Medically Supported Detox, as well as medical programs like the Supervised Consumption Service. The nurse will move between sites to cover shortages and to supplement medical staff resources. When coverage at those sites sufficient, they may be asked to support other programs, such as supportive housing. The Multi-Program LPN will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care. Strong attendance and reliability are critical for success in this role.
**To confirm their assigned work location, the Multi-Program LPN will call the on-call manager one hour before each shift. If they are required to change locations after the start of their shift, they may claim mileage.
