Description The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a licensed health care practitioner that provides medical care and works as part of a clinical team to ensure smooth continuum of care for identified patients, many of which are high risk. This includes facilitating the efficient flow of patients through the clinic and providing direct patient care under the direction of a provider. Also, performs immunization and medication administration tasks, assists with client follow-up and chart maintenance, and keeps exam rooms, lab area, and bathrooms clean. Requirements Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing. Knowledge of new trends and techniques in Nursing. Current NYS LPN license. Minimum of 2 yrs. clinical experience preferred. Current BLS certification required.
