FlexStaff is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse with OB/GYN Women's Health experience for our client, a hospital in Brooklyn.    Salary: $35.85-38.99/hr  commensurate with experience Full-time 5 days/week   Responsibilities * Assisting the physician in treatments and procedures * Monitoring of patient's vital signs, patient intake and output, and recording patient history * Reports data relating to patient's health status to appropriate clinical staff * Identifies patient goals, communicates, and collaborates with clinical team to support patient care plan * Administration of medication, injections and functions in the scope of the license * Cleaning of equipment in patient care areas * Maintain patient care rooms to ensure they are kept clean, and supplies are well stocked. * Maintain records of patient activities and observations * Submit records to the appropriate clinical staff regarding patient's condition * Assist with scheduling patients, authorizations and referrals to support office staff as needed * Cross-cover multiple practices * Rooming patients * Overseeing patient flow   Skills Required: * Excellent communication and customer service skills * High level of organization * Effective time management * Ability to multi-task - Excellent written and oral communication * Knowledge of the insurance process * High level of professionalism * Flexible and team-oriented - Attention to detail and quality   Qualifications: * Education * Required * Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent   Licenses & Certifications * BLS CERT AMERICAN HEART required * NYS LPN license required   *Additional Salary Detail The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
