Job Summary: Under the direction of the Medical Director, the LPN will provide optimal healthcare to our 48 developmentally disabled adults in a residential setting. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The selected candidate will be responsible for the administration of medications, related medical treatment documentation & report writing. Responsible for morning treatments, skin checks, any medical concerns. Answering the phone, call and verify medical appointments for the following day Requirements Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, as assigned. Must possess strong oral & written communication skills, strong organizational & time management skills. Must be able to interact with people at all levels Education and/or Experience: Must be able to safely lift 50lbs Current LPN license in the State of Florida Minimum one year of recent nursing experience required Experience working with Developmental Disabilities a plus Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
