POSITION SUMMARY:

The LPN Team Leader is responsible of ensuring the general well being of Residents through the delivery of high-quality services in a manner that is consistent with the policies, procedures and philosophies of Park Place Seniors Living Inc. The LPN Team Leader will provide basic assessment and treatments, personal care, medication administration, and delegated health services to the Residents, as well as providing support and give direction to the Care Staff. The LPN Team Leader will at all times demonstrate support of Park Place policies and procedures and conduct themselves in a professional manner in all situations.

Job Qualifications:

  • LPN registered with CLPNA in good standing
  • Valid CPR and First Aid Certificate (Standard or emergency Certification)
  • Clear Criminal Record Security Clearance with Vulnerable Sector Check (No more than 6 months old)
  • Must be physically fit for transferring and lifting, and able to be on your feet for long periods of time
  • Appropriately dressed in nursing uniform
  • Effective written and oral communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated accuracy & accountability in medication administration, with minimal to no documented errors
  • Strong working knowledge of nursing standards, infection control practices, & facility policies & procedures.
  • Proven ability to retain & apply training and education, with minimal need for repeated coaching or retraining.
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills, especially in high-pressure or time-sensitive situations.
  • Excellent documentation skills and use of electronic MAR
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to best practices in nursing care.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and follow through without supervision.
  • History of excellent performance evaluations
  • Organized, reliable, exercises sound nursing judgment, and works well as part of a team.
