Administers medications and treatments according to physician orders. Provides education and guidance to clients and their families on disease process and management. Ensure adequate medical supplies are available to meet the medical needs of the patients. Receive and review nursing report at the beginning of the shift and compile nursing report at the end of the shift. Monitor vital signs in accordance with the resident’s treatment plan. Requirements Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Illinois. Minimum 1 year of experience in Medical and Surgical setting. Previous experience in long-term care is a plus but not required. Pass a physical, drug screen, 50-pound lift test, fingerprint for criminal background and complete the reference check. EOE #HIGH1
