What You’ll Do as Our Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): As an LPN at NLG, you’ll provide direct nursing care and play a vital role in maintaining the health, safety, and well-being of the individuals we support. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you’ll collaborate closely with program staff, families, and medical providers to ensure high-quality, coordinated care across our school and adult services programs. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Key Responsibilities: Administer medications and track compliance Maintain medical documentation and immunization records Monitor students and members during medical incidents, restraints, and emergencies Collaborate with families, physicians, and staff to ensure coordinated care Lead infection control measures and track data Provide training to staff in CPR, First Aid, and medication protocols Attend nursing and behavior support meetings Help implement emergency response plans Qualifications Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Requirements: Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) registration with the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing Preferred experience with children and adults with complex emotional or psychological needs Strong written and verbal communication skills CPR/First Aid certified (Instructor certification required post-hire) Clean CORI and OIG background checks Valid driver’s license Physical able to preform all job duties Why Join Nashoba Learning Group?
