How you’ll make an impact in this role Deliver comprehensive bedside care within the appropriate scope of practice. Contribute to the ongoing assessment of patient status and reporting findings promptly to the RN or Physician. Administer medication and maintain documentation. Perform essential laboratory tests and diagnostic clinical tasks as ordered. Assist in the coordination of discharge planning and patient/family education. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required. Education: High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
