CareCorp Seniors Services is looking for compassionate, experienced Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) with a passion for the elderly to join our team in one of our beautiful Long-Term Care Facilities, Discovery Harbour Care Centre.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program.
• Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
• Knowledge and background in Dementia care strong asset.
• Desire to continually stay educated in relevant areas of long-term care and nursing.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Performs assessments.
• Plans, implements, and provides personal and nursing care to residents.
• Administers oral and subcutaneous medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures
• Directly supervises care staff to meet resident’s needs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
