Description
LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN) – OVERNIGHT SHIFT JOIN A TEAM THAT CHANGES LIVES EVERY NIGHT At Lincoln Recovery, nursing is more than medication passes and charting — it’s being a steady, compassionate presence for individuals taking the first steps toward recovery. We are looking for nurses who are passionate about behavioral health, substance use treatment, and helping people through some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. Whether you already have behavioral health experience or are looking to transition into a more meaningful area of nursing, we provide the support, training, and team environment to help you succeed. Our overnight nurses are a critical part of the recovery journey. You’ll work alongside a collaborative clinical and medical team in a structured environment where relationship-building, critical thinking, and compassionate care truly matter. POSITION DETAILS * Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) * Shift: Overnight * Pay Range: $35–$36 * Overnight Differential: Additional $3/hour * Schedule: Two-week rotating schedule * Quarterly Bonus Potential: Up to 10% * Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 paid at 90 days and 6 months ---------------------------------------- WHY NURSES CHOOSE LINCOLN RECOVERY PURPOSE-DRIVEN WORK Every shift matters. You’ll support clients through detox, stabilization, and early recovery while helping create a safe, healing environment. SUPPORTIVE LEADERSHIP & TEAM CULTURE We believe great nursing care starts with a strong team. Our leaders are hands-on, approachable, and invested in supporting our nurses both personally and professionally. BEHAVIORAL HEALTH TRAINING & GROWTH New to behavioral health? That’s okay. We provide onboarding, training, and ongoing support to help you build confidence in addiction medicine and mental health nursing. STRUCTURED YET FAST-PACED ENVIRONMENT Our nurses work from a central nurse station where clients come directly to you, creating a workflow that keeps you engaged while still giving you a stable home base throughout the shift. WORK THAT FEELS REWARDING Our nurses consistently say the most meaningful part of the role is seeing clients stabilize, regain hope, and begin rebuilding their lives. ---------------------------------------- WHAT YOU’LL DO * Complete nursing intake assessments and assist with detox treatment planning * Conduct daily nursing assessments and monitor client health status * Administer medications, treatments, and vaccines * Process labs and communicate critical information to providers * Maintain accurate documentation and ensure HIPAA/regulatory compliance * Respond to medical concerns calmly and professionally * Support clients through withdrawal management and stabilization * Collaborate closely with providers, RNs, therapists, and the clinical team * Communicate with families and outside providers when appropriate * Coordinate hospital transfers and nurse-to-nurse reporting * Maintain medical supplies and assist with nursing operations * Participate in trainings, meetings, and ongoing development opportunities ---------------------------------------- WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR * Active Illinois LPN license * CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) * Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care * Ability to remain calm and organized in fast-paced situations * Strong communication and documentation skills * Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn * Behavioral health, detox, or mental health experience is a plus — but not required ---------------------------------------- BENEFITS & PERKS * Free meals during every shift from our onsite kitchen * Quarterly KPI bonus opportunities up to 10% * Retirement plan options with company match * Supportive and mission-driven culture ---------------------------------------- COME SEE THE DIFFERENCE We always encourage nurses to tour the facility and meet the team before making a decision. Most people know pretty quickly whether Lincoln Recovery feels like the right fit — and we’re proud of the culture we’ve built. Overnights
