Then Pathway Family Services has the job for you! We are looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to add to our team! A Day in The Life as a Licensed Practical Nurse At Pathway, our Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct physical and emotional support to children in residential treatment for mental/ behavioral health concerns. The Nursing staff participate in children’s care as part of a multidisciplinary team. LPNs perform initial and on-going assessments; coordinate medication management care; conduct nursing education groups; respond to physical wellness concerns of residents. Nursing staff acts as a consultant with direct care staff and doctors in assisting with the physical wellbeing of our children. Being licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Kansas is a requirement of this position. This is an in-office position. Schedule may be flexible and determined in collaboration with the Lead Nurse and facility administration in order for the team to cover all needs of a 24/7 residential facility. Must be 21 years of age and 3 years older than the oldest resident. Must have a valid driver’s license and must meet agency underwriting standards while driving agency or personal vehicle to transport clients. Must have drivers' insurance. Must be eligible for credentialing with Kansas Medicaid for billing needs.
