SUMMARY: Licensed Practical Nurse to work under the direction of a Registered Nurse in providing services and care for individuals residing in Madison Cortland ARC Residential Program. Duties & Responsibilities: Oversees the general health and medical management of assigned individuals. This includes follow-up of health-related issues and coordination with physicians, clinicians, family members, and Residential Services Program staff. Provides medical support for residential program; through assisting with arranging and scheduling of appointments, follow-ups as necessary, paperwork, and filing in accordance with the Residential system. Assists R.N. with updating and tracking appointments, lab work and the results thereof. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell. Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
