Job Details Job Location: J4K UC Rexburg - Rexburg, ID 83440 Position Type: Part Time Salary Range: $32.00 - $42.00 Hourly Travel Percentage: Negligible Job Shift: Day Just 4 Kids Health is seeking a part-time Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), and/or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to see clients two afternoon/evening days per week in either our Rexburg or Idaho Falls location. The counselor will assess, diagnose, and treat children and adolescents who may have mental, social, or emotional disorders. Assessments, diagnoses, and treatments will be part of an interdisciplinary approach with providers at Just 4 Kids Urgent Care, Case Managers, child advocacy groups, and social workers where needed to provide the most complete patient care. Essential Duties include: Excellent communication skills to connect with children and adolescents of all ages, backgrounds, and cultures. Education of family members on what they can do for their child or how to respond to certain behaviors. Trained in a variety of assessment tactics to connect with children who are suffering from a variety of conditions. Assisting children in the success of day-to-day activities and in meeting developmental milestones. Coordinating patient care with necessary disciplines. Developing treatment plans. Assisting in coordination of referrals. Meeting regularly with patients to ensure that patient needs are continually assessed as well as ongoing treatment plans. Ensuring that the needful information is available to Primary Care Provider on an ongoing basis and any significant change in patient status or condition is communicated in a timely fashion. Court appearances and deposition testimony may be necessary in cases where children are removed from the home due to abusive or neglectful conditions. Additional Developing integrated mental health model with Medical Director. Developing community group therapy courses. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in psychology and graduate degree in clinical or child psychology. Maintains standards of care and practice at all times. Adheres to all professional, ethical, and legal regulations as determined by regulatory bodies and the law. Attends team meetings and CE courses Preferred Practical experience working with children in a clinical setting. Supervision of Others Dependent upon credentials. Work Environment Typically work is performed in an office or clinic setting. Occasional work performed in offsite or other clinical locations.
