Responsibilities:

• Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
• Collaborate with physicians and specialists to provide optimal patient care
• Maintain accurate patient medical records
• Provide professional general and psychiatric nursing care, including monitoring patient activities and assisting with treatment plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate from an accredited professional vocational school of nursing as a Licensed Vocational Nurse or vocational training as a Psychiatric Technician
• Experience: Minimum of one (1) year as a LVN/LPT in psychiatric nursing preferred
• Licensure: Licensed to practice vocational nursing from the State Board of Nursing or Psychiatric Technicians, with a valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
