Description

The Center for Psychological Services & Life Coaching, a group faith-based (Christian) mental health practice comprised of a multidisciplinary team, is located in an upscale medical office building with other professional/medical groups (conveniently located close to Route 30 and Route 119 for easy commuting access to both clinical staff and patients).

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Doctorate in Counseling, School Psychology or Clinical Psychology.
  • Must be licensed (unrestricted) in the state of Pennsylvania within 6 months of beginning this position.
  • Experience with crisis intervention, risk assessment, and management of potentially high-risk clients.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in the provision of administrative and clinical supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong communication with a multidisciplinary team of clinical providers.
  • Interested clinicians will be able to provide independent clinical care and treatment to a caseload of patients with a wide range of diagnoses and bio-psych-social-spiritual needs, valuing a model of counseling and treatment that is consistent with a Christian worldview
  • Established credentialing status with major insurance companies is preferred but not required (e.g., Highmark, UPMC, Optum, Medicare, Medicaid, Aetna)
  • Demonstrate a resume of excellence in the field of psychology, counseling and mental health
  • Assessment experience required

Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing, updating and maintain all training related public and internal materials annually and as needed (e.g., directory listings, psychology internship brochures, internship/residency training manual, training program related procedures, training seminar syllabi, etc.)
  • Provide regular supervision, didactics (on and when needed off-site) and oversight to the clinical work provided by master’s and doctoral level pre-licensed clinicians.
  • Work well with and coordinate with other clinical supervisors and clinical leaders to co-supervise and coordinate training activities
