Intellect Care (Counselling/ Psychotherapy) is a collaborative process to guide, explore and/or resolve personal, social, or psychological problems and difficulties. Counselling is most useful when clients seek tools or techniques to support their mental health. Psychotherapy identifies unhelpful patterns of thinking and behaviours which may limit the client's quality of life or daily activities and equip clients with more helpful and effective ways of thinking, behaving and relating to others. This addresses moderately severe mental health experiences. Intellect Care normally spans up to 50 minutes Why Join Us? At Intellect, you’ll find a supportive community focused on enhancing lives and helping clients overcome personal challenges Core Responsibilities: Provide onsite/in-person mental health counselling for the employees of Intellect's local clients in the Philippines Report to the client's office either for morning, evening or overnight shifts (dependent on the the client’s request), Shifts may be rotated depending on the client’s needs and requests. Provider will be notified of the changes at least 30 days in advance. Facilitate 1 on 1 sessions on various mental health topics (e.g. resilience, stress management, and available well-being resources). Lead group sessions on coping strategies for managing stress and challenging information. Moderate peer support sessions to encourage shared experiences and well-being discussions. Develop and deliver group sessions and workshops to promote mental health awareness and resilience. Attend and complete all required continuous developmental tasks, including clinical supervisions, module completion etc. Share a monthly report on utilisation/participation. Collaboratively work with Intellect's internal clinical team by suggesting improvements to the program and the platform. Attend adhoc 1-hour check-ins (usually once a month) with the internal Intellect team during scheduled times, to facilitate the required reporting & operational needs. Qualifications: Masters degree in Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, or an equivalent accredited programme Experience: A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience and 500 supervised clinical hours (excluding internships and academic placements) Expertise: Skilled in Trauma-Informed Therapeutic Approaches Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT) Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) for trauma survivors Somatic Experiencing (SE) License: Must hold valid and active licenses applicable to the country of practice Supervision Requirement: One supervision session every 2 months Languages: Proficiency in English and your local language Preferred Background: Prior experience with EAP and/or adult counseling Flexibility: Openness to occasional onsite work, if necessary If you’re ready to make a meaningful impact and be part of a mission-driven team, we’d love to hear from you.
