POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Licensed Psychologist to join our team. This role is responsible for conducting psychological evaluations, providing psychotherapy and counseling services, and offering clinical supervision to graduate-level trainees. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic skills, a commitment to professional development, and a collaborative approach to care.
Hours: 16 - 18 hours a week

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ph.D. in Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current Ohio State License in Psychology.
  • Demonstrated expertise in psychological evaluation and clinical supervision.
  • Experience in training and mentoring psychology assistants and graduate students.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers, reach with arms, talk, and hear.
  • Frequently required to walk, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
  • Visual requirements include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Keyboard data entry is required.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations, administer and interpret psychological tests.
  • Provide psychotherapy, behavior therapy, and psychological counseling.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff and provide consultation to individuals, programs, and community organizations.
  • Complete all required documentation and service records in a timely manner.
  • Attend staff meetings, workshops, and training seminars.
  • Develop assessment plans in collaboration with psychology assistants.
  • Provide in-service training and clinical supervision to psychology assistants and trainees.
  • Review and approve psychological evaluation and treatment reports.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise psychology assistants, practicum students, and psychology interns assigned to the evaluation unit.
