Beacon Behavioral Partners is seeking highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, or a Licensed Case Social Worker for The Prestige Clinic in Allen, Texas. As an Outpatient Therapist, you will provide therapeutic services to individuals with a variety of mental health concerns. Your role will involve conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to support the well-being and recovery of our clients.

WHAT DOES THE LICENSED THERAPIST DO? (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor to join our private practice. The ideal candidate will specialize in areas such as anxiety, depression, and life transitions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Outpatient Therapist or similar role
• Graduate degree in counseling (or related field) from an accredited university/college
• Proficiency in conducting patient assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, PTSD, or other mental health conditions
• Must be licensed by the State where your hiring facility is located

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO)

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions using various therapeutic modalities
• Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to promote client engagement and motivation for change
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for clients
• Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
• Provide case management services, including referrals to community resources and support services
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions and treatment progress
• Stay informed about current research and best practices in the field of outpatient therapy
• Experience: Keeps abreast of mental health and therapy trends and knowledge.
• Participates in in-service programs.
