JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health counseling and a passion for helping individuals overcome challenges. This role involves providing psychological assessments, therapy, and support to clients, including children, families, and individuals with various mental health needs. The Psychologist will work in both inpatient and outpatient settings, utilizing evidence-based practices to deliver high-quality care.

REQUIREMENTS

• Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure to practice psychology.
• Experience working with children and families is preferred; school experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic approaches including PTSD care, addiction counseling, and psychotherapy.
• Strong skills in patient assessment, psychological testing, and intake procedures.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or autism is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of behavioral health principles and crisis intervention techniques.
• Ability to work effectively in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Wyoming, MI 4950

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations for clients.
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions tailored to the needs of diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and other therapeutic modalities.
• Offer crisis intervention services as needed to support clients in acute distress.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care, including social workers, medical professionals, and educational staff.
• Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Engage in research activities to contribute to the advancement of psychological practices.
• Supervise interns or junior staff as required, providing guidance and mentorship.
• Participate in community outreach programs to promote mental health awareness.
• Provide telehealth services as necessary to accommodate client needs.
