JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health counseling and demonstrate expertise in various therapeutic modalities. This role involves providing high-quality clinical services to individuals and families, with a focus on enhancing emotional well-being and promoting positive mental health outcomes.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution; current LCSW licensure is required.
  • Proven experience in psychotherapy, clinical counseling, and behavioral therapy techniques.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems for efficient documentation of patient care.
  • Experience working with children and families; knowledge of child & family counseling practices is preferred.
  • Background in home & community care settings is advantageous.
  • Understanding of medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding, and medical documentation standards.
  • Strong skills in crisis intervention, case management, patient assessment, and diagnostic evaluation.
  • Knowledge of PTSD care, addiction counseling, geriatric care, Alzheimer’s care, and working with individuals on the autism spectrum is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide psychotherapy and counseling services, including individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to support clients.
  • Manage cases effectively, ensuring continuity of care through collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Engage in crisis intervention and management for clients experiencing acute distress or emergencies.
  • Participate in clinical research initiatives, contributing to data collection and analysis related to behavioral health outcomes.
  • Work with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and individuals with developmental disabilities or special needs.
  • Provide education and support to families regarding mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources.
