Licensed Therapist – Outpatient Mental Health (Contractor) iMind Health LLC (D/B/A iMind Behavioral Health) Location: 4640 Forbes Blvd, Lanham, MD 20706 Employment type: Contractor Pay: $50–$60 per completed encounter (typically 45–60 minutes; rate based on licensure and experience) Compensation is for completed encounters; appointment and documentation expectations are reviewed during onboarding. Schedule: Flexible—caseload and appointment driven; clinicians set availability within clinic hours. Client volume is based on clinician availability and clinic demand. Referrals are provided through the clinic; additional self-sourced referrals are welcome but not required. Work setting: Outpatient clinic with telehealth available, as clinically appropriate. Overview iMind Health LLC (D/B/A iMind Behavioral Health) is hiring a Licensed Therapist/Clinician (Contractor) to join our Outpatient Mental Health Clinic (OMHC). Our clinic provides traditional outpatient counseling and a comprehensive range of services, including psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and individual, family, and group therapy. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team (therapists, prescribers, and support staff) to deliver high-quality, integrated care. Population served: Children, adolescents, and adults (caseloads assigned based on clinical appropriateness, clinician experience, and program needs). Maryland licenses accepted (active and in good standing): LMSW, LCSW-C, LGPC, or LCPC Clinic hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–7:00 PM (optional weekend availability may be offered for clinicians who prefer weekends). Telehealth: Available as clinically appropriate and based on program needs. Support and Clinical Collaboration • Multidisciplinary team model with prescriber collaboration • Clinical consultation and support for complex cases and urgent clinical needs • Training and onboarding support for clinic workflows and documentation standards • Clinical supervision and consultation support available for all clinicians (with structured licensure supervision available for LMSW/LGPC, as applicable) • EHR: InSync (Qualifacts) This role is a great fit for clinicians who enjoy: • Outpatient therapy in a multidisciplinary clinic setting • Collaborative treatment planning with prescribers and a care team • A mix of in-person and telehealth services based on clinical need Key Responsibilities • Conduct psychosocial and DSM-5 diagnostic assessments and utilize standardized screening tools as appropriate; complete documentation per company standards. • Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy using evidence-based and strength-based approaches. • Develop and update person-centered treatment plans based on clinical need and client goals. • Engage families/caregivers in treatment when clinically appropriate. • Assess for referrals to Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) and/or Mobile Treatment Services (MTS) during the assessment process and complete referrals in a timely manner when clinically indicated. • Coordinate with the treatment team to address urgent clinical needs as they arise. • Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, safety protocols, and program requirements. Documentation and Professional Practice • Complete documentation accurately and on time in accordance with program, payer, and regulatory standards. • Meet productivity expectations for client-facing services; targets vary based on caseload needs/acuity and are reviewed during onboarding. • Participate in team meetings, training, and quality improvement activities, as applicable to contractor role expectations. Required Qualifications • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field. • Active Maryland license in good standing: LGPC, LCPC, LMSW, or LCSW-C. • Strong clinical judgment and ability to make independent decisions when needed. • Proficiency with computers and clinical documentation systems. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Successful completion of required background check and required training.
