Taconic Veterinary Center, part of the Suveto network of hospitals, is looking for experienced Licensed Veterinary Technicians to join our team. Location: Cortlandt Manor, New York Position: Full-Time & Part-Time Veterinary Technician About Us: We are a busy general practice and emergency animal hospital dedicated to providing exceptional care to our furry patients and outstanding service to their owners. Position Overview: We are seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our dynamic team. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, offering 24-36 hours per week. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our patients in both GP and ER settings. Responsibilities: * Assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures * Perform diagnostic tests and laboratory work * Monitor anesthesia and patient recovery * Administer medications and treatments as directed * Provide excellent client communication and education * Maintain accurate medical records * Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients and staff Requirements: * Valid NYS Veterinary Technician license * Experience in a general practice or emergency setting preferred * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment * Commitment to ongoing education and professional development Schedule: * Full-Time: 36-40 hours/week * Part-Time: 24-28 hours/week * 1 weekend per month and rotating holidays required Compensation: * Hourly pay range: $25-$30 per hour, commensurate with experience Benefits: * Competitive salary * Health insurance options * 401K * Continuing education support * Paid time off * New York Sick Time * Employee discounts If you are a passionate and dedicated Licensed Veterinary Technician looking to make a difference in the lives of animals and their owners, we want to hear from you!
