Buckner Retirement Services Community: Ventana by Buckner Location: Dallas, TX - Onsite Address: 8301 N Central Expy, Dallas, TX 75225 Shift: 12 Hours – 6 PM to 6 AM Shifts Available Job Schedule: Occasional We are seeking Licensed Vocational Nurses to join our community committed to delivering outstanding care to our residents. As an LVN, you will impact the lives of our residents through providing professional nursing care. Join our team and inspire happiness in the lives of others! What you’ll do Ensure adherence to individual service plans and administer prescribed treatments. Conduct meaningful rounds with residents and record visits on charts. Administer injections, perform in-house testing procedures, and record vital signs. Supervise and assign duties to nurse aides, monitor their work, and assist in carrying out the activities program. Communicate with physicians and follow through with orders. Handle medication preparation, administration, and documentation. Monitor condition of medication room, cart, and refrigerator. Chart accurately and in accordance with facility policy and state guidelines. What you’ll bring: High School diploma or GED. Current Licensed Vocational Nurse License. Current CPR Certification. Minimum one-year related experience preferred, or appropriate formal education or Buckner training. Working knowledge of basic health care practices and procedures, including infection control. Requires proficient ability to speak, read and write English. A friendly attitude and a servant’s heart.
