Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Licensing Advisor, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end licensing process for Brisbane-based team members working in Gaming and Gaming-support roles. Reporting to the General Manager of People Operations and initially guided by the Licensing Manager, this newly created role will serve as a key liaison with the Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation (OLGR) on all employee licensing matters.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain and continuously improve licensing processes and systems to ensure compliance with all relevant Federal and State legislation, as well as internal policies and procedures.
  • Accurately manage employee licensing data within the HRIS, ensuring data integrity and up-to-date records.
  • Coordinate all aspects of licensing, including new applications, variations, and terminations.
  • Complete statutory reporting requirements (daily, weekly, and six-monthly) within prescribed timeframes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct regular reconciliations between People Operations records and Casino Authority systems to verify licensing status, functions, and qualifications.
  • Provide expert advice to People Operations staff and Senior Management on licensing matters, including interpretation of relevant policies, procedures, and statutory obligations.
  • Prepare and coordinate formal responses to inquiries from regulatory authorities regarding employee licensing.
