Options Residential is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Licensing and Quality Assurance Specialist to join our leadership team! JOB REQUIREMENTS

This position requires a bachelor’s degree in social sciences with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in a social services field such as foster care, mental health, child welfare, brain injury, intellectual/developmental disabilities. Supervisory experience is strongly preferred.:

Also required:

  • Proficient knowledge of Minnesota Statute 245D and 144G and others as required.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills to maintain relationships
  • Strong presentation and people skills
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Ability to maintain professional composure and effectively represent the organization.
  • Strong deductive reasoning, problem sensitivity, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to maintain an elevated level of confidentiality.
  • Supervisory experience is strongly preferred
  • Excellent leadership skills with an ability to influence others and drive change; “hands-on” leader who promotes collaboration through example
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task to meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated and collaborative; a team player

Responsibilities

Our organization has multiple locations and services that must maintain Minnesota licensing standards as well as company expectations. This position supports organizational goals by taking steps to ensure programmatic consistency, sustainability, and growth potential. This position is responsible for:

  • Completing licensing paperwork for all locations correctly and timely with requests from the County and State and sending those completed documents to the Executive Director or designated Director for review, approval, and signature.
  • Completing licensing visits with program leaders and complete follow-up as necessary for any noted deficiencies.
  • Completing bi-monthly licensing walkthroughs at each program location to ensure continued compliance with licensing requirements.
  • Preparing and submitting necessary compliance reports and documentation to program leadership

Quality services standards are essential to promoting an environment where individuals receiving support can thrive. This position supports organizational goals by taking steps to ensure programmatic consistency, sustainability, and growth potential. This position is responsible for:

  • Completing and analyzing customer response surveys regarding quality and competency of programs, staff, and living environments and providing reports of outcomes to designated Director for review.
  • Completing observations of employees providing support to residents within the programs and providing documentation to designated Director for review.
  • Completing quality checks on residents’ annual paperwork and other documentation generated by the program and providing reports to the designated Director for review
