    The Department of Justice and Community Safety is now recruiting a new frontline team that will carry out monitoring, inspections and investigations to ensure Victorian tobacco stores are complying with the law.
Responsibilities

As a licensing compliance and enforcement officer, you will:

  • Monitor, inspect and investigate premises to ensure compliance with the Tobacco Act 1987.
  • Work in teams when exercising legislative powers, including exercising search warrants.
  • Prepare reports, briefs of evidence and other documents to support investigations and potential court action.
