JOB DESCRIPTION: LICENSING COORDINATOR JOB DETAILS Employment Status: Permanent/ Full Time Starting Pay: Competitive pay commensurate with experience and qualifications. Reports to: Project Management Office JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Compliance & Record Keeping Coordinates all aspects of licensing for sales producers. Reviews state license applications to ensure compliance. Track license renewal for sales producers. Track Errors & Omissions (E&O) policies for Franchises to ensure binding authority. Maintains records for reporting license information to carriers. Agent Support & Communication Communicate critical policy documents to our customers and agents. Fulfill incoming agent requests managed through e-mail or chat. Effectively communicate with Sales & Support Staff, Underwriting Auditor, Claims Department, and Operations Department. Reporting & Data Management Produce reports based on licensing statistics. Create and maintain spreadsheets to manage licensing data (e.g., using Google Sheets/Microsoft Excel). Key Duties: Captive and Independent Agents Licensing Receive New IA Appointment Packets. Complete Agency Appointment Packets for Sales to Review. Appointment and Termination of IAs. Update the IA list and maintain the UW IA drive. Create Pulse Account. Create logins. Licensing Updates. E&O Updates. Bank Information Approval. NSF suspension. Change of Ownership. Bi-weekly, send all appointments and terminations to all carriers (Captive, FR, CA, and IAs). Review commissions with accounting (incentive report). MGA communication to IAs. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE 1+ years of experience in the insurance industry, specifically with producer licensing, appointments, and terminations (preferred). 1 year of Customer Service experience. 1 year within a Call Center environment (preferred). Knowledge of state insurance regulatory requirements and procedures (e.g., Texas, California, Florida). Proficiency with licensing databases (e.g., NIPR) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) or Agency Management Systems. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, utilizing a professional vocabulary. Planning and Organizational Skills. Very strong problem-solving, data gathering, and organizational skills; be detail-oriented, flexible to handle multiple and competing priorities. Associate's or Bachelor's degree (preferred).
