Description
APRA AMCOS is a member-owned music rights management organisation, positioned at the intersection of music, data and technology. We have more than 124,000 members who are songwriters, composers and music publishers. We license organisations to play, perform, copy or record our members’ music, and we distribute the royalties to our members. OneMusic is an APRA AMCOS and PPCA joint music licensing initiative. OneMusic provides licences for Australian businesses —such as bars, gyms, cafés or hair salons— to play the music you would typically hear on radio, TV and music-streaming services, or that you buy online or in stores. A OneMusic licence covers the majority of commercially released music, worldwide. We’re looking for a motivated and customer focused individual to join our team as a Licensing Representative. In this role, you’ll proactively engage with businesses to educate them about our role in ensuring music creators are paid for the performance of their work, understand their music licensing needs and provide licensing solutions for businesses using music. This role is based in our Ultimo office, which is on Gadigal land. Key Responsibilities: Make outbound calls and emails to prospective customers. Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly call and licensing targets. Build strong rapport with customers to understand their licensing needs and identify solutions. Accurately maintain customer records and follow up on leads within required timeframes. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth customer onboarding and issue resolution. To thrive in this role you will need: Proven experience in a call centre or phone-based sales environment. Strong communication skills, with the confidence to engage and influence. Demonstrated ability to work to KPIs and thrive in a target driven setting. Resilience, self-motivation, and a positive, solutions focused approach. Solid computer, research and data entry skills. Prior experience working with CRM software is highly regarded. What You'll Love: Our friendly and collaborative work environment. Our team thrives on our values of collaboration, respect, skill, imagination, and accountability. Hybrid work options, combining the convenience of remote work with in-office collaboration. Our team works in the office 3 days per week, and has the option for 2 days working from home. Generous employee benefits such as: learning and development programs; 18 weeks paid parental leave; discounted private health benefits; novated lease vehicles arrangements; access to financial services; employee assistance programs and more. How to Apply: If this sounds like you, we want to hear from you. Please submit your resume and cover letter via Seek or Bamboo by 9 January 2026, explaining why you would be a great fit for this role. For more information on this role or to see the position description, please feel free to contact Sam Ecob, National Licensing Manager (same@onemusic.com.au). We are committed to being a culturally safe and responsive workplace where staff from all backgrounds feel welcome, respected, and supported. While this role requires specific skills and experience, we encourage people of all ages and genders, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, culturally and linguistically diverse groups, the LGBTIQ+ community, and people with disability who are interested in this position to put an application in, even if they’re not sure if they meet every single bit of the selection criteria. We are keen to make our candidates comfortable so they can show us their best. Please feel free to reach out to our People & Culture team (hr@apra.com.au) to discuss support or adjustments in our recruitment process that may be required. Please Note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. All applicants must have current and valid working rights in Australia or New Zealand.
