Welcome to Love’s: The primary purpose of the Licensing Research Specialist - Accountant position is to ensure licensing fees are accurately calculated and remitted to federal, state and local licensing authorities to ensure compliance for the Love’s Family of Companies.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax Accounting, Finance, or Business. Degree with an Accounting emphasis or focus is preferred
• 1-3 years of work experience as a staff accountant, tax accountant, compliance accountant, revenue accountant, internal auditor, idirect tax accountant, sales and use tax accountant, transaction tax accountant, SALT accountant, tax intern, sales & use tax, sales tax accountant, business tax analyst, auditor, accounting associate, or accounting analyst is preferred.
• Prior experience with accounting, auditing, and reconciliation of record data is preferred
• GAAP accounting knowledge and experience is preferred

SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office with strong skills in MS Excel.
• Skilled in tax accounting, accounting, sales and use tax, GL accounting, indirect tax, transactional tax work, financial reporting, gross receipts calculations and gross sales calculations, auditing processes, reconciling accounts.
• Experience with multi-state sales and use tax is a plus.
• Knowledge and experience with SAP is a plus.
• Strong oral and verbal communication skills; ability to perform and make decisions under pressure and strict deadlines; excellent time management skills; detail oriented; ability to multitask and be a team player
• Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
• Possible evening/weekend work
• This position is located at Love’s Corporate HQ in Oklahoma City. Typical work hours are Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm.
• This is an associate-level accounting / entry-level accounting / junior accounting position.
