Description Oakwood Community Living Center is looking for a Life Connection Assistant (LCA) to join our growing team! Life Connection Assistant (LCA) duties include but are not limited to: Assist in providing a program of activities for residents under the supervision of the Life Connection Coordinator. Assist with planned activities based on residents’ comprehensive assessments and care plans. Conduct and/or assist with individual, group, and bedside activities. Encourage and support resident participation in activities and social engagement. Collaborate with staff and other disciplines to enhance resident participation and quality of life. Assist in maintaining required records and documentation for activity programs. Promote and uphold all Residents’ Rights policies and procedures. Maintain safe work areas and ensure proper storage of equipment and supplies. Follow all safety procedures regarding cleaners, hazardous materials, and equipment. Ensure Universal Precautions, Infection Control, and Isolation procedures are followed. Ensure compliance with fire, safety, sanitation, and facility procedures Promptly report hazardous conditions, accidents, incidents, or equipment issues to the supervisor. Attend all required orientation, in-services, and training sessions. Other duties as assigned.
