Join our team as a Life Enrichment Aide!
Permanent Part-Time Opportunity
Under the direction of the Life Enrichment Coordinator, the Life Enrichment Aide will be responsible and accountable for the delivery of Life Enrichment Services, implement and communicate to all residents and families a schedule of recreation and social activities that are offered during days, evenings and weekends, provide and assist with recreation and social activities that include a range of indoor and outdoor recreation, leisure and outings that are of a frequency and type to benefit all residents of the home and reflect their interests, and provide opportunities for resident and family input into the development and scheduling of recreation and social activities

QUALIFICATIONS:

Have a post-secondary diploma or degree in recreation and leisure studies, therapeutic recreation, kinesiology or other related field from a community college or university; or
Are enrolled in a community college or university in a diploma or degree program in such a field as required under the Fixing Long Term Care Act, 2021, ss. 79 and Ontario Regulation ss. 73/22 (1)
Minimum of one year’s experience in Geriatric rehabilitation or Long-Term Care preferred
Must demonstrate an active interest in ongoing education
Must be flexible, innovative and creative
Must be computer literate
