At American House, our Life Enrichment Assistants play a vital role in creating meaningful moments for our residents through engaging activities, events, and experiences. Why You’ll Love This Role: Flexible schedule with approximately 30 hours per week A chance to use your creativity—crafts, music, and fun outings Work in a friendly, welcoming environment Bring your vibrant, energetic personality to enrich the lives of seniors Make an impact through social, emotional, and intellectual engagement What You’ll Do: Plan and lead activities that support the Whole Person Wellness Model (intellectual, social, emotional, vocational, and spiritual). Create fun programs such as crafts, music, and community outings. Use technology (iPad, photos, social media) to highlight resident experiences. Welcome and orient new residents, ensuring they feel part of the community. Decorate for holidays and seasonal events, adding warmth and cheer to the community. Oversee volunteers and represent American House at community events. Provide excellent customer service and build strong connections with residents and families. What We’re Looking For: Experience working with seniors, students, or in customer-focused roles. Outgoing, energetic, and creative personality. Comfortable with basic technology and scheduling.
