OVERVIEW

We are seeking an energetic, compassionate and creative Life Enrichment Assistant to plan and lead engaging programs for our Assisted Living and Memory Care residents. This role supports residents’ physical, emotional, and cognitive well-being by providing meaningful, person-centered activities that promote social interaction, stimulation, and quality of life.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with seniors, especially those with memory loss or cognitive challenges.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; patient, empathetic, and upbeat demeanor.

Responsibilities
  • Organize and implement daily activities for Memory Care residents, including group programs, individual interactions, and special events.
  • Tailor activities to residents’ needs, interests, and abilities—especially those with cognitive impairments such as Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia.
  • Facilitate activities such as music therapy, exercise, crafts, sensory stimulation, reminiscence therapy, games, outings, and holiday events.
  • Maintain documentation of attendance, participation, and residents’ responses to activities.
  • Decorate common areas for holidays and seasonal events.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and family/resident engagement activities.
