Description Carillon at Belleview Station, on of Denver's premier senior living communities, is looking for an outgoing Life Enrichment Assistant to join our team. You will be working closely with the program director to plan, organize, and direct quality activities for our Memory Care residents that meet their recreational, physical, intellectual, spiritual and social needs. Our goal is to ensure that we offer enough variety in our activities to meet the needs of every resident. This position works Sunday through Thursday. Benefits: 3 weeks of paid time off a year Medical insurance including vision and dental 100% employer paid life and long-term disability insurance Accident and short-term disability insurance 401(k) with employer match Sunny Day emergency savings account with employer match Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in planning, developing, organizing, conducting, and evaluating the Memory Care life enrichment program Participate in the development and implementation of activity care plans and resident assessments Invite and encourage residents to attend and participate in daily activities Conduct weekend activities Involve the resident/family in planning activities that meet the goals and objectives of the resident Qualifications: 1 year experience or training preferred providing life enrichment activities preferred Experience working with the senior population preferred Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills Due to the nature of the work performed by Ascent Living Communities, and that this position works with a vulnerable population, we do require a criminal background check be completed Pay: $21.50 - $23.00 an hour based on experience
Responsibilities
Assist in planning, developing, organizing, conducting, and evaluating the Memory Care life enrichment program. Invite and encourage residents to attend and participate in daily activities.
