Tarantino Properties is currently seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to assists the Activities Director in designing, creating, initiating, facilitating and coordinating a wide variety of multi-level recreational and educational activities for the residents of our Senior Living Community located in Austin, TX. *** The schedule for this position is Part-Time - Sunday to Monday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm *** Essential Functions: Assists in planning and coordinating resident activities. Encourages resident participation in programs and activities. Escorts residents on activities away from the property as assigned. Assists with the registration of residents for trips and programs. Maintains necessary activity supplies, which may include outside purchasing. Assists in the surveying and interviewing of residents to determine interests, talents and resident satisfaction. Maintains general observation of residents and shares appropriate information with staff. Follows departmental budget guidelines. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent (GED). At least 1 year of experience in a similar role. Senior Living experience a HIGHLY PREFERRED!
Responsibilities
