We are currently seeking a Full-Time Life Enrichment Coordinator to: Administer, direct, and coordinate community wellness and programming for our Elders that addresses physical, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual dimensions. Enrich the lives of our Elders by promoting the Eden Alternative 7 Domains of Well Being. Ensure all services are performed within a resident-centered model and in collaboration with the community’s life enrichment team. Be responsible for planning and publishing a monthly activity calendar, adherence to budget, and documentation in accordance with State requirements. Scheduling and the roles of volunteers in planned activities. The Coordinator will report to the Lifestyle Director and will work with the Life Enrichment team to provide meaningful experiences to all of Stevenson Oaks Elders. Qualifications Experience in wellness and activity programs for senior adults, preferably in a long term care setting. Helpful other skills: Considerable knowledge of computer use, including e-mail, MS Office and ability to learn relevant facility software. Knowledge of the processes of aging, and of personal and social problems confronting older persons and society in general. Should have demonstrated direct concern for older people and an ability to work with them. Understands wellness is multi-faceted and encompasses social, emotional, physical, intellectual, and spiritual dimensions. Care Plans
