JOB SUMMARY AND QUALIFICATIONS

Responsible for understanding, interpreting, developing, and implementing Life Safety, Fire Safety and Environment of Care regulations (EOC), guidelines, and best practices consistent with hospital objectives and requirements of federal, state, and local regulatory agencies; licensing agencies; accrediting and certifying organizations; and professional standards across Mission Hospital and its associated ambulatory properties. Implementation includes documentation of compliance in all areas as well as ensuring training and competencies are in place as needed for employed and contracted parties. Ensures quality control procedures are executed to monitor all aspects of regulations. Coordinates audits of health and safety programs within Mission Hospital to ensure environment, health and safety compliance. Directs grounds maintenance and employees. Coordinates direct oversite of hospital space allocation to ensure departments function efficiently in appropriate locations.WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL NEED:

  • Required Education:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience ten (10) years related experience in healthcare management.
  • Required License:Must have a valid NC driver’s license or procure one within 30 days of employment unless an out-of-state commuter, at least two years of satisfactory driving experience and be at least 18 years of age to meet the Mission Health established insurance guidelines
  • Preferred License: CHFM Certification, Extensive Knowledge of NFPA 101 and 99
