YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:

Hamelin is seeking a dynamic Project Lead to lead our team to empower individuals with learning disabilities and autism to develop self-help skills, independence and meaningful ordinary lives.
In your day-to-day role, you’ll be steering the life skills service and your team towards the next level of success which will include innovation, inclusion and service design.
Life Skills Project: (formally known as The Studios) is an initiative that focuses on enabling adults with learning disabilities and autism to engage in accredited activities through an exciting timetable of activities all supported by our dedicated team. As Project Lead, you will orchestrate the essential logistical, analytical, and administrative tasks that keep this project running smoothly and that will include an online offer for expanding Hamelin’s reach.
This role is crucial in making sure we deliver exceptional service, stay compliant, and run our projects efficiently— whilst ensuring our mission, vision and values are not compromised. You will also be key in developing the Charity as it seeks to evolve its services and reach.

Responsibilities

YOUR NEW ROLE:

As a project lead at Hamelin, you will play a pivotal role in empowering individuals, ensuring teams create an innovative and meaningful environment through our opportunity center which is at the heart of Hamelin.
The role will be focusing on empowering the individuals we support. This will be through an accredited system building on skill based activities.
The project lead will also build on their existing contacts within the community and wider networks to ensure service growth and to continue Hamelin’s community presence.
Working closely with the project leads for Hamelin’s Links and Employability services to ensure that all available internal and external opportunities are accessible to both new and existing individuals we support.
As a project leader you will be expected to have knowledge and experience of national award systems, and ensure the progress and development of the scheme for people we support and the staffing team.

EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS ARE VITAL TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:

  • Project Management - Oversee the daily operations of the project, while developing and executing strategies to grow, enhance and meet the needs of our people.
  • Team Leadership - Fostering and leading a motivated team that aligns with our values and goals.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance - Implement and oversee quality assurance processes, including gathering feedback from project participants and colleagues to keep improving our service delivery.
  • Stakeholder Engagement - Identify, build and maintain strong relationships with project participants, families, local and health authorities representatives, and other key stakeholders.
  • Business Development - Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the service through new partnerships and diverse funding sources both within and beyond the health and care sector.
