NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. Our beautiful, six bed NeuroRestorative facility located in Goleta, California provides residential and day program rehabilitation services for individuals who have experienced brain, spinal cord and other life-altering injuries and medically-complex illnesses. We offer in-patient treatment in a residential home-like setting to individuals of all ages, which includes Neurorehabilitation, respite, post-acute, and sub-acute care. We offer a variety of services including amputee care, complex wound care, G- and J- tube feedings, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, multiple IV Antibiotic therapy, pulmonary care, social & recreational activities, and more. Shift Available Part-time; EVENING, OVERNIGHT & WEEKEND shifts DAY shift: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM EVENING shift: 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM OVERNIGHT shift: 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM 8-hour shifts OT after 8th hour Life Skills Trainer Salary Range: $17.00-$20.00 per hour, based on experience Overtime pay after 8th hour (OT pay = $25.50-$30.00 per hour) Valid CA driver’s license required Goleta, CA NeuroRestorative facility located on North Patterson Ave. Residential setting 6-bed facility & Adult Day Program Paid time off (vacation, sick and personal) On demand pay via Dayforce Wallet Responsibilities: Take basic vitals such as heart rate, temperature and blood pressure Provide training, assistance and supervision to individuals receiving care in the areas of living skills, therapeutic recreation, and other forms of assistance in both residential and community settings. Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, shopping, cleaning, and medication administration. Facilitate the working relationships between employers and individuals served, and support community involvement by accompanying them on outings, or providing transportation to work or other activities. Work closely with our clinical staff to support the therapeutic and behavioral plans in place. Responsibilities
The Life Skills Trainer is responsible for providing training, assistance, and supervision to individuals in living skills and therapeutic recreation. They will also assist with daily activities and facilitate community involvement.
