The Lonely Entrepreneur (www.lonelyentrepreneur.com) is looking for a seasoned, proven Lifecycle & Inbound Marketing Manager (employee or consultant) to drive non-paid acquisition and conversion efforts across its B2C offerings:

  • The Lonely Entrepreneur Learning Community

  • Individual Contributions to the Lonely Entrepreneur Non-Profit

The primary goal of this role is revenue generation from non-paid digital channels (organic, email, lifecycle, content, SEO) and automation of lead nurturing via HubSpot. This position will work hand-in-hand with our existing PPC Specialist, who leads all paid digital acquisition strategies.
We are considering both full-time employees and consultants.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We’re looking for a Lifecycle & Inbound Marketing Manager who can own and optimize our non-paid acquisition engine, nurture funnel, and marketing automation stack—centered around HubSpot. This person will complement our PPC Specialist by owning everything before, between, and after paid clicks—using content, email, CRM automation, SEO, and lifecycle marketing to drive performance.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of B2C digital marketing experience
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with HubSpot, marketing automation, and email marketing
  • 3+ years of experience managing content marketing, SEO, and organic growth
  • Strong understanding of digital customer journeys and marketing attribution
  • Familiarity with WordPress, GA4, A/B testing tools, and UX principles
  • Ability to strategize and execute independently
  • Critical thinker, problem solver, and clear communicator
  • Team player with strong interpersonal and time-management skills

Responsibilities

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL NEED:

  • Expertise in HubSpot for marketing automation, CRM segmentation, and lifecycle campaigns
  • Proven ability to generate and convert leads via email, organic content, nurture sequences, and landing page optimization
  • Experience with content marketing and SEO that supports top- and mid-funnel growth
  • Deep understanding of customer journeys and conversion funnels
  • Strategic thinking with a hands-on execution mindset
  • Ability to work closely with PPC and cross-functional teams to deliver seamless campaigns

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own and manage HubSpot for email automation, segmentation, lead scoring, lifecycle workflows, and performance dashboards
  • Develop and manage email nurture campaigns, onboarding journeys, and engagement flows for both SaaS and high-ticket coaching leads
  • Execute non-paid acquisition strategies including SEO, organic content, partnerships, referral programs, and organic social
  • Collaborate with the PPC specialist to align messaging, timing, and offers between paid and lifecycle channels
  • Analyze funnel gaps and lead quality to improve MQL → SQL → customer conversion
  • Optimize marketing operations and attribution models across channels
  • Implement strategies to grow organic traffic and build our content engine (blogs, lead magnets, etc.)
  • Coordinate landing page and website updates for improved performance, messaging, and SEO
  • Build dashboards and reporting to measure performance across non-paid initiatives
