Description Our Lifeguard Supervisor is responsible for managing and overseeing the pool and open water operations by ensuring the areas are safe and sanitary. This is a seasonal position that may require flexible scheduling availability. Requirements Job Requirements: Provide daily leadership and direction to the lifeguard team. Ensure appropriate guard-to-patron coverage at all times. Create, manage, and adjust lifeguard rotation schedules. Coach team members and address performance issues promptly. Enforce resort safety rules, pool regulations, and emergency action plans. Conduct regular safety drills, in-service training, and skills assessments. Complete and maintain documentation related to incidents, rescues, inspections, and certifications. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal aquatic safety guidelines. Monitor pool conditions, deck safety, and guest behavior. Perform daily inspections of equipment, pool areas, and chemical logs. Assist with opening/closing procedures and general facility upkeep. Work closely with maintenance or management when issues arise. Provide a welcoming and professional presence at the pool area. Address guest inquiries, concerns, or conflicts in a calm and helpful manner. Promote a family-friendly, respectful, and enjoyable aquatic environment. Job Qualifications: First Aid required Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required Excellent verbal and written communication skills Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and the internet Strong communication and organizational skills The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
