Description The YMCA Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all members and guests using the aquatic facilities. Lifeguards create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment by maintaining constant surveillance, enforcing pool rules, responding to emergencies, and providing exceptional member service aligned with the YMCA’s mission and core values. Responsibilities: - Monitor swimmers and ensure their safety at all times - Enforce pool rules and regulations - Respond to emergencies and provide first aid when necessary - Maintain a clean and safe pool environment - Communicate effectively with members and staff - Attend regular training sessions and stay up-to-date on lifeguarding techniques and procedures Pay: $18.00 per hour Shifts: Varying hours Monday-Saturday If you are a responsible and skilled lifeguard who is passionate about ensuring the safety of others, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
