Description Come work for Windermere's most fun camp at Isleworth Golf & Country Club. This fun, inclusive summer camp is dedicated to providing a safe and memorable experience for campers ages 4-13. We are seeking responsible and energetic Lifeguards to supervise aquatic activities and ensure the safety of all campers and staff. This is an 8 week assignment that includes training from May 26-28 and the week of June 29th off. Hours are from 10:30am to 2:30pm Tuesday thru Friday, camp runs from June 2nd to July 31st. Pays $19/hr includes meals. Must also be available to work an occasional weekend or special event. Opportunity to work in a fun, outdoor environment. Responsibilities Monitor campers and staff during swimming and water activities Enforce pool and waterfront safety rules Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies Perform water rescues and administer first aid when necessary Conduct safety checks of the pool/waterfront area Assist with swim tests and aquatic programming Maintain a clean and safe aquatic environment Requirements At least 1 year prior experience as a lifeguard or camp counselor Current Lifeguard Certification (American Red Cross or equivalent) Current CPR/AED and First Aid Certification Strong swimming ability and rescue skills Ability to remain alert and attentive for long periods Friendly, responsible, and team-oriented attitude Must be at least [16/18] years old
